Effective sales presentationsAs someone who is passionate about both sales and new technologies, I have a hard time not reacting when I see one destroyed by the other. I want to talk about the sales-destroying use of PowerPoint and Keynote presentations in sales. The programs are not the problem, they are just tools. The real problem is how we use them. Who, or what, is to blame? No doubt the fact that, on average, sales reps spend 15 minutes learning PowerPoint or Keynote and the rest of their lives making do with this meager knowledge. As a result, the new technologies that are supposed increase the impact of sales techniques do exactly the opposite.
But now there are no more excuses: in the past 10 years, a number of people have shown the way. Their names are Steve Jobs, Guy Kawasaki, Seth Godin and Garr Reynolds. This blog is intended for all those who want to put an end to “Death by PowerPoint” and join the era of high-impact, memorable, stunning sales presentations.
